Lohen’s Genshin Debut: A First-Person Guide to Waiting, Time Zones, and Gacha Pain

I’ve been staring at my calendar so hard that the numbers are starting to blur. June 9, 2026. That’s the day Lohen finally arrives in Genshin Impact — but only if you’re on the America server and only if you’ve mentally prepared yourself for the second-phase banner shuffle. As a dedicated player who has missed more release windows than I’d like to admit, let me walk you through the glorious chaos of Lohen’s launch times, the banner lineup, and my own questionable countdown strategies. 😅

First things first: Lohen is not a “everyone gets him at the same moment” kind of deal. He’s the second-phase banner, which means HoYoverse is making us play the server-time lottery. The Asia server gets him first, Europe follows, and the America server — my server, of course — gets him last. Because why would I ever be early to anything? 🕒 If you’re on the America server, mark June 9, 2026, at 07:00 PM ET (UTC-4) on your forehead. Or at least set three alarms. I’ve already set five, and I’m still convinced I’ll somehow miss it because I’ll be busy staring at a loading screen.

The Server Time Shuffle: Why Asia Wins and I Cry

Here’s the part that always trips me up: each server uses a different local time, and HoYoverse doesn’t do simultaneous releases for second-phase banners. The Asia server gets Lohen at 06:00 PM SGT (UTC+8). The Europe server gets him at 06:00 PM BST (UTC+1). And the America server gets him at 06:00 PM CT (UTC-5), which is 07:00 PM ET for those of us who live in the Eastern time zone and have to do mental gymnastics every single patch. 🤸

I once tried to explain this to a friend who doesn’t play Genshin. He asked, “So it’s the same time everywhere?” I laughed. Then I cried. Then I made a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet did not help, but it made me feel productive.

The Banner Lineup: Mavuika, Mika, Xiangling, and the One True Pyro Archon

Now, let’s talk about who’s actually on Lohen’s banner. According to the official info, the four-star lineup includes Mavuika (Pyro-Claymore), Mika (Cryo-Polearm), Xiangling (Pyro-Polearm), and Bennett (Pyro-Sword). Yes, Bennett. The man, the myth, the accidental Pyro Archon. I have pulled Bennett so many times that I’m starting to think he lives in my account rent-free. 🏠🔥

Mavuika is the big prize, obviously. A Pyro claymore user who probably hits like a truck full of fireworks. Mika is there for the cryo enthusiasts and anyone who wants to feel fancy with a polearm. Xiangling remains the eternal “I guess I’ll build her” character, and Bennett is Bennett. If you don’t have him at C6 yet, this is your chance. If you do have him at C6, congratulations, you’re now obligated to explain to every new player why he’s secretly the best character in the game. 😎

Here’s a quick table for my fellow time-zone sufferers:

And for the America server specifically, that’s 07:00 PM ET on June 9, 2026. I’ve already told my boss I have a “prior engagement.” The engagement is me sitting in front of my screen with a bowl of snacks and a desperate hope that the gacha gods smile upon me. 🍿

My Personal Countdown Strategy (Spoiler: It Involves Snacks)

I’ve developed a highly scientific method for waiting for a banner. Step one: clear my schedule. Step two: stock up on snacks. Step three: watch the clock tick down while pretending I’m not going to spend all my primogems in the first five minutes. Step four: cry. Repeat. 😭

But honestly, the anticipation is half the fun. There’s something magical about knowing that Lohen is coming, that Asia is already enjoying him while I’m still refreshing the countdown page, and that soon I’ll be able to dump all my saved wishes into the banner and get… probably a bunch of Bens. That’s just how it works. The gacha giveth, and the gacha taketh away — usually in the form of a Bennett constellation.

So, fellow travelers, mark your calendars, set your alarms, and prepare your primogems. Lohen arrives on June 9, 2026, for the America server at 07:00 PM ET. If you’re on another server, adjust accordingly and maybe send me a screenshot of your first pull. I’ll be here, refreshing the page, wondering why I chose the server that always gets everything last. 😅

May your pulls be golden, your pity be low, and your Bennett constellations be… well, at least he’s good. Good luck out there! 🎮✨
